Texas tough.
Conservative to the core.

A conservative blueprint

for the Comptroller’s office

Audit Everything.

Texas taxpayers deserve to know where their money is going. Christi will launch a top-to-bottom audit to ensure every dollar is tracked, every program is reviewed, and no waste goes unchecked.

Launch a Local Government Efficiency Task Force.

From city budgets to special districts, Christi will lead a review of local budgets across Texas, helping communities cut waste and stretch taxpayer dollars further.

Upgrade Outdated Technology.

At the Railroad Commission, Christi cut permitting delays from months to 48 hours. She’ll bring the same results-driven approach to the Comptroller’s Office to modernize operations and eliminate bureaucratic delays.

Faster Refunds for Texas Businesses.

When small businesses overpay their taxes, they shouldn’t have to wait months to get their money back. Christi will make timely refunds a top priority, because government should work as hard as the people who fund it.

Conservative Budget and Spending Limits.

The Comptroller doesn’t pass laws, but it plays a key role in how we budget. Christi will partner with legislators to protect conservative priorities, ensure accurate revenue forecasts, and keep Texas a low-tax, pro-growth state.

I don’t flinch. I don’t fold.

And I don’t forget who I serve.

What does the Texas comptroller do?

Guarding Your Tax Dollars. Powering the Texas Economy.

The Texas Comptroller is the state’s chief financial officer. This office oversees the state’s finances, manages taxpayer funds, forecasts economic growth, and works hand-in-hand with the Legislature to shape the state budget.

Texans deserve a Comptroller who knows how to lead. We don’t need talking points, we need a proven record of real, conservative results.

Energy drives the Texas economy, and Christi Craddick led the agency that delivered $27.3 billion to Texas in 2024, record revenues to fund our state’s future. She knows what fuels our budget and how to protect it.

Christi Craddick brings the hands-on experience, conservative values, and no-nonsense leadership Texans can count on.

Who is Christi Craddick?

Christi Craddick is a lifelong Republican, a proud West Texan, and one of the most experienced and effective leaders in state government. As Chairman of the Railroad Commission, she led the agency responsible for Texas’ most critical economic driver: energy.

“As a mom and a lifelong Texan, I know how hard families work to stretch every dollar. Government should do the same. At the Comptroller’s Office, I’ll bring a conservative approach, auditing everything, upgrading outdated technology, and making sure Texans get their money back faster. Government should work for the people, not the other way around.”

Cutting Red Tape. Powering Texas. Leading with Results.

Under Christi’s leadership, the Texas oil and gas industry generated a record $27.3 billion for the state in 2024 alone, funding schools, infrastructure, law enforcement, and border security. She overhauled outdated systems, cut permitting times from months to 48 hours, and brought conservative, pro-business leadership to one of Texas’ most powerful agencies. And she did it all while standing strong for Texas values, pushing back on unnecessary federal overreach, and keeping our energy sector safe, responsible, and thriving.

Before joining the Commission, Christi built a career specializing in oil, gas, electricity, water, taxation, and environmental policy; crucial areas for Texas’ future. She holds both a Bachelor’s Degree as a Plan II graduate and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from The University of Texas at Austin.

Rooted in Texas. Driven by Faith, Family, and Conservative Values.

Now, Christi is running for Texas Comptroller to bring that same proven leadership and common-sense conservative approach to the office that manages our state’s finances. She’ll fight for a conservative budget and spending limits in the Comptroller’s work with the Legislature. She will keep Texas on solid footing, ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely, and safeguard our economic strength for generations to come.

Christi lives in Austin with her daughter, Catherine, and is an active member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

Christi Craddick knows what it means to manage a large agency, enforce conservative accountability, and deliver real results for Texas families. She’s building on a record of results, and she’s ready to go to work.

Record of Results

Energy Leader. Budget Watchdog. Trusted Conservative.

As Railroad Commissioner, Christi Craddick:

  • Cut permitting times from 90+ days to less than 48 hours
  • Led the agency through record-breaking revenue years, including $27.3 billion in oil and gas revenue in FY 2024, funding Texas schools, roads, and first responders every single day.
  • Supported innovation while maintaining high safety and environmental standards
  • Plugged orphaned wells, protected landowners, and enforced compliance
  • Championed conservative reforms without growing bureaucracy

Christi Craddick is the only Republican candidate with a proven record in bringing conservative values to government. She knows how to lead an agency, implement conservative policies, and stand strong for Texas values.

Texans don’t need slogans. We need action.

Texans deserve a fighter, not a follower.

“What Christi Craddick is doing as our Texas Railroad Commissioner; she’ll do as our new Comptroller. She’s smart and steady, ever attentive to every line on every budget. She runs a tight ship. She abhors frivolous spending that takes state government away from its mission of serving the taxpayers of Texas. She’s done her job with consummate efficiency and because I know Christi and believe in her, I know she’s always up for a new challenge, if the challenge is about helping Texas grow and prosper. I don’t think she’ll excel at the job. I know it. I don’t think she produces extraordinary results. I’ve seen it.”

Dan Hord and Jack Harper

“Texas needs a watchdog, a steward in the Comptroller’s Office. Our friend Christi Craddick, has been preparing for this role her entire life. She’s as honest as the day is long. She works with a passionate love for our Texas and a meticulous attention to detail. We’re proud of her twelve plus years of service on the Texas Railroad Commission. But her best days and biggest contribution to our Lone Star State are yet to come.”

Bill Holmes

“I’ve known Christi Craddick most of her life. She is a no nonsense, business minded public servant. She is forward thinking, a good listener and will pay attention to the details of running the State Comptroller’s office. Her goal has always been keeping Texas, Texas. I will be casting my vote for Christi Craddick for State Comptroller.”

Woody Hunt

“Christi Craddick has demonstrated leadership for all of Texas in her role as Texas Railroad Commissioner and is poised to do so as Comptroller.”

No learning curve. No empty promises. Just a proven leader with the track record to get the job done.
